VIA Rail gets tasty
Traveling VIA Rail Canada? Look for a new menu after the line’s eight chefs met for a two-day competition that led to 78 new dishes.
Travelers with Sleeper Plus tickets can look forward to mixed fruit-filled crepes for breakfast, roast beef ravioli sautéed with crispy bacon for lunch or duck breast with gastrique blackberry and vanilla sauce for dinner, among other items.
"From morning to evening, complimenting the breathtaking scenery, the VIA Rail culinary experience is truly extraordinary," claims a press release.
