Vietnam quarantine period extended to 21 days
Vietnam has extended its compulsory Covid-19 quarantine period to 21 days. It was extended from 14 days after recent positive cases were found after completing a 14-day quarantine.
The decision was made after consultation with epidemiologists and virologists due to new variants of the virus, said Health Minister, Nguyen Thanh Long.
At least two people, including one from India, tested positive after finishing the 14-day concentrated quarantine with one causing a cluster of cases in the town of Ha Nam.
