Viking adding new ship on the Mekong
Viking is adding a new ship next summer to its Mekong programme.
Purpose-built for the Mekong River, Viking Saigon is currently under construction and will launch on 30 August 2021.
It will accommodate 80 guests in 40 outside staterooms with a veranda or French balcony.
The vessel will have a spa and fitness centre, an infinity pool and upper deck Sky Bar.
Viking Saigon will sail itineraries between Kampong Cham, Cambodia and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as part of Viking’s ‘Magnificent Mekong’ cruise tours.
The 15-day itineraries take in the region’s iconic attractions such as the Khmer temple complex of Angkor Wat, Cambodian capital Phnom Penh and Mekong floating markets.
Viking Saigon will join Viking Mekong in the region.
