Villa specialist Dedicated Holidays collapses
Villa and apartments operator Dedicated Holidays Group has ceased trading with 900 holidaymakers abroad.
The company, trading as Dedicated Holidays and Dedicated Flights, was based in Crawley, West Sussex and offered villa and apartment holidays to the Balearics, the Canary Islands and the Algarve.
The company held an ATOL bond of £535,000. The Civil Aviation Authority is making arrangements for the 900 abroad to complete their holidays and fly back to the UK.
Customers due to travel on holiday this weekend are being contacted and advised not to go to their departure airports, the CAA said.
Full refunds will be made to people with forward bookings.
The failure comes less than a month after Turkey and Greece specialist Tapestry Holidays and Northern Cyprus operator World International both went out of business.
