Virgin Atlantic will halt Pakistan flights in the coming months.

The airline says it is suspending services following a review of its entire network.

Pakistan flights to Lahore will end in May and to Islamabad in July.

“We will communicate to any customers due to fly after these dates,” Virgin said.

Virgin Atlantic started flying to Pakistan at the height of the pandemic in late 2020.

It comes amid a critical fuel shortage in Pakistan.

It has forced the suspension of routes for local airlines.
