Virgin help for sacked workers
BRISBANE – Virgin Blue is offering to help workers made redundant and unable to fulfill their flight commitments with Virgin Blue and its associated airlines – Pacific Blue, Polynesian Blue or V Australia.
Virgin Blue‘s Redundancy Refund policy applies to workers who have lost their jobs and may not wish to continue with their booked flights, or who are now financially unable to travel as planned.
Virgin Blue CEO, Brett Godfrey, said,“Extraordinary circumstances call for extraordinary measures and we wanted to assist those who have been unexpectedly impacted by the loss of their job by relaxing our standard (cancellation) policy.â€
