Virgin Hotels names new CEO
Virgin Hotels has named James Bermingham as new CEO and he takes over with immediate effect.
Bermingham brings more than 35 years of industry experience to the position.
He was previoulsy Executive Vice President of Operations for Montage International, and also worked at ITT Sheraton Corporation.
As Chief Executive he is responsible for the company’s global growth and customer experience.
"We are thrilled to welcome James into the Virgin Hotels family. For over a decade, we have been devoted to providing unforgettable experiences for our guests, and I can think of no one better than James to spearhead this effort," said Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson.
This year, Virgin Hotels open in three more key destinations – Las Vegas, New Orleans and New York City.
There are three Virgin hotels currently operating in Chicago, Dallas and Nashville.
