Virgin offer guide book content on flights
Virgin has introduced content from Rough Guides travel books to its in-flight entertainment system.
Details on accommodation, restaurants, attractions and local culture will be available from 25 books while Rough Guides world music CDs will also be included on the carrier’s audio system.
“Our passengers now have the opportunity to utilise their flight time to find out about the history and culture of their destination and do a bit of last minute research on hotels, restaurants and activities so they can make the most of their trip,” said Virgin Atlantic digital media manager Catherine Stewart.
