Virgin revamps key retail stores
Virgin Holidays is revamping 12 of its stores with a ‘meet and greet’ point, sharing tables and a sales desk.
Sites include the Basildon, Basingstoke and Liverpool stores within Debenhams, and the Lakeside store in House of Fraser.
The operator claims the revamp will promote ‘Unmistakably Virgin’ customer service while focusing on the ‘meet and greet’ desk, the sharing tables where customers can research and the sales desk with lots of details and flexibility.
The refresh programme will start in mid-December and complete in early 2015.
Sponsors include Sandals, AM Resorts, Universal, Elite Island Resorts, Palace Resorts and Melia.
In recent months, Virgin Holidays has grown its retail estate to include 29 new ‘Retail Lite’ stores within Tesco locations in towns such as Salisbury, Dover and Warrington.
