Virgin Voyages guests required to be vaccinated
Adult-only cruise line Virgin Voyages will require all guests to be vaccinated. It is one of the first large ship cruise lines to mandate vaccinations. It is also mandatory for all ship crew.
“We’re really encouraged by the latest rollout plans in the May time frame from the new administration, and we know the future is about vaccinations,” said Tom McAlpin, Virgin Voyages’ President and CEO.
The line is still waiting to operate its maiden voyage after its launch was suspended just as the pandemic took hold globally.
After pushing back its start date several times it is hoping to launch first ship Scarlet Lady this summer.
