‘Vulnerable’ tourist goes missing in London
Metropolitan police are appealing for help to find a missing tourist who does not speak English, has learning difficulties and is bipolar.
Officers are increasingly concerned for the wellbeing of Luc Blieck, 57, from Belgium, who needs regular medication which he does not have with him.
He was in London sightseeing with a group of people with learning difficulties but became separated from the group in Westminster in the area surrounding Big Ben on Friday (July 13) at around 1530hrs.
Luc is 5ft 11ins tall and was last seen wearing a yellow cap, a navy polo shirt with white horizontal stripes, pale blue shorts, sunglasses and carrying a rucksack.
"Luc has no known links to any particular part of London but has an Oyster card with him and it is possible that he may have travelled away from the Westminster area," said police.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who thinks they may have seen Luc in the last 48 hours or who may know where he is.
Anyone with information is asked to call Westminster Police Missing Persons Unit by dialling 101, tweet @MetCC or call Missing People on 116 000.
