Tuesday, 26 May, 2020 0

Marriott International has set a new December 2020 date for the much heralded opening of W Melbourne.

The hotel’s scheduled opening was pushed back from June this year.

The 294-key hotel forms part of the Collins Arch mixed-use development and features four F&B venues, a fitness centre, an indoor pool and meeting space.

It includes 29 suites, including four WOW Suites, offering views of the Yarra River.

Collins Arch also features 184 luxury residences and almost 50,000sqm of office space.

W Melbourne is the second opening for the brand after W Brisbane, and a third is in the works for Sydney, which is scheduled to open in early 2021.

The 593-room Darling Harbour property will become the largest W hotel in the world.
