Weather causes travel disruption
Airlines are continuing to warn of possible flight delays and cancellations as wintry weather hits parts of Britain.
Flybe warned passengers to check its flight information page for updates.
“Flybe, like every airline, has minimum acceptable weather conditions in which we can operate safely,” it said.
Meanwhile, Manchester Airport was warning of flight disruption on Friday due to the snowy and icy conditions.
Heathrow, which cancelled flights on Thursday, said schedules were now back to normal.
Eurostar cancelled two trains between London and Paris due to the difficult weather conditions both in south-east England and in northern France.
Severe flood warnings are in place on the east coast of England as emergency services prepare for a storm surge.
Residents in the coastal towns of Jaywick, Essex, and Great Yarmouth, Norfolk have been told to evacuate their homes because of high tides expected on Friday evening.
