Wendy Wu launching Mekong riverboat
Wendy Wu Tours is launching a new river cruise vessel, offering guests a new upscale cruising experience in Southeast Asia.
The 33-cabin Victoria Mekong will begin sailing in December 2019 with three or four-nights sailings between Vietnam’s Mekong Delta and Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh.
The superior cabins feature private balconies, and vessel amenities include spa with massage service, a bar and restaurant.
"The Victoria Mekong will give our guests a unique Mekong experience from a completely different perspective," said John Warr, Wendy Wu’s global sales director.
Group tours on the Victoria Mekong are inclusive of international flights, all meals, expert guide-led tours and more.
Itineraries and on-shore tours have been designed to offer more meaningful exploration, Warr says.
"The Victoria Mekong sails through a much quieter part of the Mekong following a route that is more immersive. The shore excursions provide our guests with every opportunity to connect to the history, people and cultures of Vietnam and Cambodia."
To mark the vessel’s launch, free upgrades from main deck to upper deck on all group tours are up for grabs for bookings made by the end of August.
In addition there are savings offered of up to $300 per person for 2020 departures.
