WeRoad hails record revenue
Group travel brand WeRoad closed out the 2025 financial year with a record €130 million in revenue.
Key to the company’s success was a 30% year-on-year increase in core European markets and rising demand for international trips.
Founded in 2017, WeRoad continued to expand its group travel model across Europe and among English-speaking travellers globally.
In 2025, WeRoad.com delivered a 62.4% year-on-year revenue increase compared to 2024.
It says passenger volumes and bookings grew by 54% and 51% respectively.
By the end of 2025, 300,000 people had taken a WeRoad trip—with nearly 110,000 of them travelling with WeRoad in 2025 alone.
They chose both short haul European and long-haul intercontinental destinations.
The top 10 WeRoad destinations by volume in 2025 were Italy, Morocco, Iceland, Japan, Albania, Egypt, the US, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Mexico.
“2025 was the year we proved that travel can be more than an experience, it can be a way to build real friendships,” said Andrea D’Amico, CEO of WeRoad.
“People are actively looking for spaces to connect offline. That insight shaped both our international expansion and the launch of WeMeet, which extends the WeRoad experience beyond trips.”
In September 2025, WeRoad launched an international trade partnership programme to open its group travel portfolio to selected travel advisors, including Bluvacanze in Italy, Travel Counsellors and Tourhub in the UK, and Arrival Travel in Australia.
This directly benefitted WeRoad within English-speaking markets, which grew by around 50% year-on-year.
