Westin Hotels debuts in Jakarta

Westin Hotels is reaching new heights with the opening of its first property in the Indonesian capital Jakarta.
 
Situated in the Kuningan business district, The Westin Jakarta will be the tallest hotel in Indonesia, with the Sky Lobby located on the 52nd floor.
 
The hotel, owned by PT. Wahana Nusantara, occupies floors 50 to 69 in the mixed-used Gama Tower with 272 guestrooms and suites overlooking the city skyline.
 
It features four dining venues, a signature WestinWORKOUT fitness studio, and 3,000 square meters of function space including a ballroom.
 
"We are thrilled to debut the Westin brand to Indonesia’s capital. We are confident the opening of the hotel will resonate strongly with the local Jakarta community and guests visiting from around the world," said Vincent Ong, senior director, brand management for parent company Starwood Hotels & Resorts Asia.
 
Interiors were created by leading design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates and it will introduce Westin’s signature wellness amenities to the city ‘bringing to life the brand’s commitment to guests’ well-being through a local lens,’ says Brian Povinelli, global brand leader, Westin Hotels & Resorts.
