WestJet to launch Myrtle Beach service in March
WestJet has announced the resumption of its non-stop seasonal service between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for 2014.
The twice-weekly service is slated to begin on March 6, almost two months earlier than the 2013 schedule.
The airline will run round trip services on Thursdays and Sundays until October 23, with amended flight timings from April 27.
One way fares will start from CAD$211 including taxes and fees.
"We’re very pleased to return with non-stop services to one of Canada’s favorite vacation and snowbird destinations," said Chris Avery, WestJet vice-president, network planning, alliances and corporate development. "After a very successful first season, our guests told us they wanted to escape the snow, stroll the boardwalk and shop the outlet malls even earlier this year. With more than 100 golf courses, Myrtle Beach is the perfect place to get an early start to the season."
