What families want this summer
An Omnibus survey sponsored by Wyndham International Inc. discovered what families want most in their summer vacations (62%) is a reduced rate.
That was followed by 47% who wanted a free night.
Other conclusions:
• More than two thirds wanted to experience “new places and activities” while on vacation, but only 32% wanted to take an “active” trip.
• More than half, or 57%, preferred a relaxing vacation that includes a pool or the ocean.
• More than half, or 53%, also agreed that the women of the household do the majority of researching and booking family vacations.
• Almost two third, of 66%, said the most important hotel amenity for their children was the pool.
