What happens at 2,000 metres, stays at 2,000 metres
The French resort of La Plagne has converted a piste basher into a remote mountain hideaway sleeping two.
The ‘VIP suite’ is located at the Arpette Summit at 2,400 metres.
Guests are taken to Plagne Bellecote in a chauffeur-driven Jaguar, then taken to the summit on a piste basher.
The suite includes a queen-size bed, spa bath, large flat-screen TV, stereo and coffee machine.
Guests receive a bottle of Champagne, macarons, and a complimentary ‘Lovebox’ gift including an erotic board game, feather and massage oil.
The suite features panoramic windows with views over the mountains, as well as a glass ceiling. The couple will be alone on the summit, with a radio for communication in emergencies.
A breakfast of pastries and coffee is provided the next morning. The experience costs €320 for two, available until April 28.
