What’s NEW for ATE 2008?
Tourism Australia has announced that in response to feedback from ATE 2007, a number of new elements are being introduced to the event for 2008.
These changes are designed to improve business opportunities for buyers and sellers attending ATE and include the following: –
** The format of the Eastern Welcome function on Saturday, 14 June will change to become a Welcome Happy Hour held on the tradeshow floor.
This will give delegates with free time in the evening to explore the city of Perth.
As a result, primary and additional delegate fees for buyers and sellers attending the Eastern Module have been reduced by $55.
** The Western Farewell function on Friday, 20 June will be held at the PCEC immediately after appointments are completed.
This function will conclude at 8pm allowing delegates the opportunity to enjoy a casual evening at their leisure, to pack or rest their weary legs after a long week!
There will be a mix of sit-down and stand-up lunches at ATE 2008.
Delegate feedback from 2007 indicated a strong desire to return to more sit-down lunches.
Therefore the majority of lunches, including all lunches in the Eastern module, will be sit-down at ATE 2008
** Due to popular demand, the happy hours have been extended to a happy ‘hour and a half’!
Happy hours will commence at 5.30pm and finish at 7.00pm.
The Mole will be at ATE 2008 reporting “on location and live” and also for the first time, with hot news and interviews on TravelMole TV – would you lilke to take part in TravelMole’s coverage of ATE 2008?
