This winter, the sun still shines brightly on the Historic Coast while the region serves up top sports action, music, performing arts and much more.

Here’s a round-up of events, experiences and arty attractions to enjoy on Florida’s Historic Coast this winter.

THE PLAYERS Championship, golf’s premier event that attracts the sport’s best players, including 2025 champ Rory McIlroy, returns to Ponte Vedra Beach March 10-15, 2026.

Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall continue to book world-class performing acts, including Wide Spread Panic, Santana, Judy Collins, and Los Lobos.

The Fort Mose Jazz and Blues Series is where music and history converge, featuring two full weekends of Grammy Award-winning artists from Feb. 6-15.

The best cuisine and spirits are celebrated at the Augustine Spanish Food & Wine Festival on Feb. 19-21 and the St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival, May 6-10.

Spa pampering

For a little pampering in between the big ticket events, set up a day of relaxation and restoration at the state-of-the-art Spa at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, the luxurious Poseidon Spa at the Casa Monica Resort & Spa, the zen-inspired Spa at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort or the innovative Salt Spa of St. Augustine

Adventure

Fly high over alligators, crocodiles, and more with Crocodile Crossing at the Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park. Or, arrange a fishing charter with one of the many talented guides at Drum Man ChartersBrian Walker or Fishhardy Charters on the hunt for trout, redfish or game fish inland and offshore.

Get spicy

Datil peppers are the official spice maker of Florida’s Historic Coast. Order online or grab a local sauce from one of the many shops in the area: Luvin’ Oven CateringHamilton Heat, or A-Frame, and all kinds of datil creations from Minorcan Mike’s.

Raise a glass

For locally made crafted spirits, the St. Augustine Distillery has rum, vodka, gin and bourbon. City Gate Spirits creates moonshine, rum, and whiskey, while San Sebastian Winery turns muscadine grapes into red, white, port, and sherry wines.
