Wizz Air launching two new routes to Romania from Birmingham
Wizz Air has announced two new routes from Birmingham Airport to Iasi and Craiova in Romania.
Service will launch from 23 October with flights twice a week to Iasi, a cultural hub once dubbed the ‘city of one hundred churches.’
The following day Wizz will begin flying to Craiova with two flights a week.
It will take to 10 the number of routes Wizz Air operates from Birmingham.
"We are delighted to be adding even more low-fare connections to our network from Birmingham Airport, providing our customers in the West Midlands with new opportunities to explore unique destinations," said Owain Jones, Managing Director of Wizz Air UK.
Tickets are on sale now at wizzair.com or the airline’s mobile app with fares starting from £17.99.
Wizz Air recently announced it is launching a new route from Liverpool to the Transylvanian city of Cluj-Napoca in late-October.
