Wizz Air secures slots, will add Gatwick routes
Wizz Air has bagged 15 daily landing slot pairs from Norwegian Air Shuttle at Gatwick Airport, and will base four additional Airbus A321neo’¯aircraft at the airport.
It’¯brings the total aircraft based at Gatwick to five from spring 2022 onwards.
Wizz Air UK will be launching’¯several new’¯low-fare’¯routes.
The newly acquired slots will also create additional inbound traffic for Wizz Air Hungary.’¯
The successful bid for more slots cements Wizz Air’s’¯ commitment to’¯boos traffic at the airport.’¯
