Wizz to launch new flights to Romania next winter
Wizz Air is launching flights from Luton and Liverpool to Bacau in Romania on October 29.
Bacau is the seventh base for Wizz in Romania and its 31st worldwide.
Flights from Luton will operate daily and there will be two flights a week from Liverpool.
Tickets are already on sale on the airline’s website.
Bacau is one of Romania’s oldest cities.
Wizz will also launch new holiday flights this summer from Luton to Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Malaga, Palma, Lanzarote, Corfu, Heraklion, Rhodes, Zante, Faro and Marrekesh.
The airline is going ahead with the launches despite the Foreign Office advice against all non-essential travel.
