Worldchoice kicks off with Dertour deal
German specialist operator Dertour, which carries 10,000 passengers a year from the UK, has signed its first commercial agreement with Worldchoice.
The independent agency consortium hopes the deal will support growing interest in Germany prior to the 2006 World Cup which is being held in the country.
The agreement, which extends to Worldchoice’s new sales and marketing system, 24/7, means the operator will be the only German holiday brand featured by the consortium.
24/7 is a new search system which also enables agents to download and print sales support material in the form of up-to-date posters and window cards.
