Worldchoice upgrades accounting system
Worldchoice has launched an improved central accounting system designed to save costs and improve reporting for its members.
The new system, ACAS2, replaces the original version, which had been in operation since 1990.
The consortium said the system has been developed by a multi-disciplinary Worldchoice team, with help from software developer TSG, at a fraction of the cost of using an external consultant.
Worldchoice chairman and managing director Colin Heal said: “The fact that we have been able to develop a bespoke system means that members will receive reports that are more useful to their business.
“This is a tremendous achievement for the team. Not only have we been able to achieve considerable cost savings in the development of ACAS2, but having developed the expertise, we can evolve the system in keeping with future requirements.”
