Wow air to increase London flights to Canada
Wow air will increase the number of flights from London to Toronto and Montreal to a daily service this spring.
From May 1, the Icelandic low-cost airline will fly daily from London Gatwick to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and from June 13 to Montr-©al-Trudeau Airport (YUL), via Reykjavik (KEF).
Fares start from £139.99 each way, including taxes.
The year-round services currently operate five times a week to both cities.
Founder and CEO Skuli Mogensen said: "Just a year after launching our services to Canada and within a few months of increasing the frequency of our flights to the US, we’re thrilled to be in a position to continue our rapid expansion by making our Canadian routes daily.
"Canada is a diverse destination, which has been continually rising in popularity for UK travellers and the fantastic response to our routes has reflected this."
