YHA looks to recruit vounteer managers
The youth hostelling charity YHA is looking to recruit 70 new volunteer managers to run 25 hostels in England and Wales.
It says the scheme gives people the chance to enhance their CV or brush up on existing management skills.
Applications are welcomed from people over the age of 18 who can spare a week a year to volunteer.
It’s also possible to apply as a couple or as friends who would like to volunteer together.
Last year 2,427 volunteers contributed 176,394 hours of support worth more than £1.1m to YHA.
The YHA is opening hostels at Castleton in Derbyshire, Cardiff, Brighton and the South Downs.
