Conditions are great for a last-minute ski trip
There is plenty of fresh snow across the Alps, particularly in the southern alpine region and more is expected this week, making for excellent late season skiing.
Good skiing is also still available across much of the Pyrenees, thanks to the huge snowfalls at the end of February. Light snow is forecast across many resorts over the coming days, which should do much to refresh the pistes.
Scandinavia saw some light snowfall over the course of the weekend which has ensured improving conditions across many resorts, however temperatures look set to rise over the course of the week, which is likely to have an impact on the quality of the snow.
Fantastic conditions still prevail across much of Scotland, with good top to bottom skiing currently being reported across all resorts. The low temperatures of late have ensured the snow has remained in excellent condition. Changeable weather is approaching, however.
In Eastern Europe a light dusting of new snow has temporarily improved conditions across the upper mountains, although increasingly mild temperatures are starting to take their toll, with spring-like conditions being reported across many resorts
In Canada, many resorts benefited from a light dusting of snow over the course of the weekend, with the condition of the slopes improving accordingly. The east coast has seen the best of the current snowfall, with accumulative totals of over half a metre being recorded over the past week.
Good conditions are still available across much of the USA currently, especially across California where a huge dump of new snow, accompanied by falling temperatures, has seen dramatically improving conditions of late. The best conditions can currently be found across Utah and Colorado, where a light dusting of snow has ensured that the slopes are in excellent condition.
