11th Hour quadruples last-minute vacation offerings
The 11th Hour Vacation and Cruise Web Site underwent a renovation that will provide for a 400% increase in vacation and cruise deal offerings, the Atlanta-based company says.
Said Matthew Holliday, vp:
“Prior to the release, 11th Hour Vacations offered approximately 4 million vacation packages defined by departure city, destination, resort and length of stay. The primary benefits of the expansion are that we now have access to a greater amount of specials and promotions, and a better variety of hotels, airlines and tours to help customers find the specific vacation or cruise that meets their needs.“
11th Hour specializes in last-minute vacation and cruise deals.
Packages historically limited the number of nights or departure dates available.
The new site allows for “dynamic” packages where the consumer has a greater degree of flexibility in choosing variables of their package, according to Mr Holliday.
He said with dynamic packages, departures are available on any day of the week for stays of 2-14 nights, increasing the choice consumers have when making their travel plans.
Other major advancements made to the site to improve fulfillment of customer needs and ease of use are the introduction of a more user-friendly design and navigation on every page.
There’s also a new search box with improved search capabilities to allow users to conduct more advanced and targeted vacation searches, and the addition of new photos and in-depth information for vacations and cruises.
