50 jobs under threat at NTL
Fifty jobs are to go in a shake-up at NTL Business (Travel Division).
The reservations networking company confirmed that a 30-day consultation period was underway with the staff affected.
A spokesman confirmed that 50 roles were “at risk” at the division which employs 85.
The cuts are due to be implemented by the first quarter of next year.
The redundancies will impact sales, operations, marketing and finance roles.
The spokesman said the travel arm was undertaking a re-organisation to ensure customer service continues to be effective but denied it was a pure cost-cutting exercise.
