AC Group makes key appointments
AC Group has appointed Simon Heartfield as sales director and Allison Mann as head of contracting for Scotland.
The new positions are on the back of the company’s growth after acquiring MW Tours and French Travel Partners last July.
Heartfield was recently sales director at Team Spirit Event Management, where he was responsible for new business wins including Jaguar Land Rover and Helly Hansen.
"Simon brings strong experience in developing new business pipelines, as well as excellent insider knowledge of hotels and resorts from his lengthy career," says Angela Heaton, managing director of AC Group.
"We look forward to him building our MICE and Incentive Travel business, especially within our AC Luxe brand, and are excited to have him onboard as AC Group continues to grow its business."
Mann, who has worked for brands including e-Voyages Group, JAC Travel and Crerar Hotels, will report into Stuart Gamm, head of UK & Ireland contracting.
"Allison’s extensive knowledge of hotels and contacts in the region will add significantly to our existing team," said Gamm.
"Her background blends operator experience with being a hotelier so we’re confident in her ability to get the best deal for both ourselves and our partners."
