Accor debuts new brand Tribe in Perth
Hotel group Accor has unveiled a new midscale lifestyle brand called Tribe.
The first hotel in the brand is already open with the existing 126-room Tribe Perth in Australia.
Another 10 are scheduled to open by 2022 across Europe and Asia and there is already a development pipeline for 50 hotels.
Accor is targeting up to 150 Tribe locations by 2030.
Signature brand features include smart modern architecture with designer furnishings to ‘increase the sense of space, enhance the decor and improve the customer perception,’ it says.
It will also offer bike rental, a fitness centre, a 24/7 Grab & Go food station and co-working areas.
"The pipeline of over 50 hotels currently being negotiated for the coming years leads us to believe that the Tribe brand will achieve significant growth all over the world," said Gaurav Bhushan, chief development officer at Accor.
Hotels are planned for major cities including Paris, London, Singapore, Dubai Bangkok.
