My client is the leading provider of technology, distribution and marketing services for the travel industry and has been voted world’s number one for the twelfth consecutive year in the 2005 World Travel Awards.

Approximately 56,000 travel agencies around the world are connected to the their system with instant access to content from airlines, hotels, car rental companies, cruise lines and more.

They also offer a broad range of products and services that enhance travel agency operations and their ability to serve the traveller.

They are looking for an experienced Account Manager to represent and promote their brand within the Travel Industry, specifically within a portfolio of aligned agents. To grow the commercial value of the portfolio and develop business opportunities with new customers.

The position is based internally and majority of the above is to be achieved over the phone.

To be successful in this role you must have:

** Strong travel industry experience – retail / corporatIn-depth Strong travel industry experience – retail / corporate / wholesale

** In-depth knowledge of Sabre products and solution selling skills

** Advanced computer software skills

** Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

** Prior experience in a phone support type role

** Excellent CRM and negotiation skills

** Ability to identify new business opportunities
