Active Travel Group acquires luxury inbound operator
Edinburgh based inbound travel firm MV Luxury Travel has been acquired by Active Travel Group.
MV Luxury Travel will become part of Active Travel Group’s adventure holiday business, Wilderness England, Wilderness Scotland and Wilderness Ireland
MV Luxury Travel’s main focus is serving inbound affluent US travellers.
Justin Maltz, of Active Travel Group investor Mobeus said: “Active Travel Group is seen as the go-to provider for discerning customers looking for exceptional experiential travel experiences.”
“It has delivered very strong growth in the post-Covid-19 period, and we are delighted to support this acquisition.”
“It will add further scale to the business and materially enhance the Wilderness component of the group.”
Active Travel Group’s brand portfolio also includes Ski Solutions, Bspoke and Cycling for Softies.
