Agencies are being warned to keep their software licences up to date after Glasgow-based Barrhead Travel was ordered to pay out £10,000 for using unlicensed Adobe software.
The agent was caught out by the Business Software Alliance which has been conducting an anti-piracy campaign.
BSA UK Committee chairwoman Michala Wardell said those who had not got their software licensing in order should take note from Barrhead’s experience.
