Air India restoring all staff salaries to pre-Covid level
Air India has vowed to restore all salaries slashed during the pandemic.
It will boost salaries back to pre-pandemic rates by September 1.
The airline said it will also revise crew layover allowances.
In an internal memo new Air India CEO Campbell Wilson said all staff will have their salaries restored by later this week.
Air India started restoring salaries in a phased manner earlier this year.
“Sunsetting most of the Covid measures is an important and welcome milestone”, Wilson wrote.
