Air India set to resume Rome flights
Air India is resuming non-stop Rome flights from Delhi this year.
The flag carrier makes a return to the Italian capital from March 25, 2026, after a gap of six years.
The airline suspended the route during the pandemic.
Air India will fly four times a week between Delhi and Rome Fiumicino on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The airline will use Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners on the route, which have 18 flat-bed Business Class seats and 238 in Economy Class.
Despite no Air India direct route, passenger traffic between India and Italy has been increasing in recent years.
