Air India slashes senior citizen, student concessions
Air India on significantly cut senior citizen and student concessions it offers for flights.
The long-time 50% discount has been halved to 25%.
Air India still says it offers the biggest concessions of any airline in India.
The concessions are a legacy of its time as a state-owned airline.
The discount was slashed because of ‘overall market situation and dynamics.’
Air India also offers 50% concession for armed forces personnel which will remain unchanged.
