Air Tahiti Nui named in worlds top ten
Fresh from taking out dual accolades in the Skytrax World Airline Awards, Air Tahiti Nui has now debuted in the Travel & Leisure World’s Best Awards for Top Ten Airlines.
As the youngest and smallest airline to make the list, Air Tahiti Nui was ranked ninth among some of the worlds most prestigious carriers, including Singapore Airlines and Emirates.
“We are thrilled to be recognised in these awards,†said Craig Lee, Regional Director Australia for Air Tahiti Nui. “This year marks our 10th anniversary so it is a great honour to be voted as a leading international airline, and in such great company.â€
“This further recognises our commitment to providing quality, authentic Tahitian service for travel from Australia to French Polynesia and onwards to USA and Europe,†said Mr Lee.
The 13th annual Travel & Leisure World’s Best Awards were based on the votes of over 4.5 million subscribers worldwide, assessing an extensive list of product and service criteria on the ground and in the air.
Air Tahiti Nui offers two weekly nonstop flights and two non-stop services from Sydney to Papeete, with onward services to the USA and Europe. Nonstop flights from Sydney take just seven hours, connecting with onward flights to Los Angeles, New York and Paris.
