Akasa Air launches first Southeast Asia flights
Indian airline Akasa Air has kicked off its first flights to Southeast Asia.
The recently launched direct flights from Mumbai to Phuket its sixth international destination and first in the ASEAN region.
It held a ceremony in Mumbai to send off the inaugural service with co-founder and COO, and Chief Belson Coutinho alongside airport officials.
Additionally, the airline expands again with Phuket flights from Bengaluru starting next month.
Akasa Air says Southeast Asia is a key focus in its international expansion strategy.
