All-business-class London-New York flights unveiled
Tickets have gone on sale today for a new boutique all-business-class flight from London-New York, which launches on April 24.
Special launch fares for two people traveling together on a "duo intro" ticket are available for the first 500 passengers who book with the airline, La Compagnie.
A "solo intro" fare round-trip is also offered during the introductory fare period.
The airline was launched last year and has been operating a service between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Newark since July.
The UK-New York service will operate from London Luton Airport and will fly into New York, Newark International Airport.
La Compagnie CEO and co-founder Frantz Yvelin said: "It is time to bring business-class air service back to where it belongs, where personalised service is offered at respectable fares."
The airline uses redesigned Boeing 757-200 aircraft, featuring 74 lie-flat seats in a spacious, single aisle cabin.
Initially, there will be a three-times-a-week return service, which will increase to daily by the end of 2015.
