All flights cancelled to and from Belgium
All flights to and from Brussels Airport are cancelled until 10pm today because of 24-hour industrial action, which began at 10pm last night (Tuesday)
Brussels Airlines has already cancelled its entire schedule due to the 24-hour industrial action, which is part of a wider national strike in Belgium.
Brussels Airlines had originally planned to cancel only two thirds of its flights, including services to London, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh, but later changed its mind after getting more detail about the scale of the strike.
It said flights departing from the African and North-American continent today (Wednesday), with a scheduled arrival at Brussels Airport tomorrow, will go ahead as planned.
The airline is offering the chance to rebook or request a full refund.
Brussels Airport said although the terminal building remains open, it asks that passengers don’t come to the airport and instead contact their airline.
