Amadeus and 10Best offer new agent content
Amadeus is partnering with 10Best to provide travel agents top-rated destination information and bookable content.
The agreement allows Amadeus to integrate 10Best’s content into its selling platform. Agents in the US and Canada can provide customers objective recommendations for local travel and leisure options and bookable events tailored by destination.
Said Bob Lowry, senior vice president of Products and Support for Amadeus North America:
“10Best’s top destination-specific content allows us to offer our travel agents customers on the Amadeus Selling Platform value-added booking tools and an additional revenue stream through commissionable content beyond just selling airline tickets.”
Based in Greenville, SC, 10Best provides travel guides highlighting a city’s top sights hotels, restaurants and other bookable content such as tickets for concerts and ground transportation.
Booking 10Best’s content will let agents become eligible for commissions of up to five percent.
Amadeus says its Selling Platform is the first browser-based point of sale tool to allow travel professionals to focus on selling travel and developing customers relations. The platform allows agents to choose how they work fastest — with both cryptic and graphical modes — and is updated automatically over the internet.
