Former Galileo customer Greaves Travel books over 55,000 tickets each year to India – which is claimed to represent in the region of 15% of all travel to the region.

Amadeus UK sales director Peter Cacioppo said: “In addition to our project with Greaves Travel, we have had over 400 employees working on developments for British Airways and their migration project over the last two years to develop our GDS in keeping with the needs of the airline. With this final transition nearing completion, and as an increasing number of agents migrate across to our system, we are on track to increase our market share to 25% by the end of 2004.”
