Aman at Sea ship name revealed
Luxury resort operator Aman announced the name of its first luxury motor yacht as Amangati.
Following the announcement of Aman at Sea in 2021, the vessel is currently under construction by T.Mariotti S.p.A in Genoa, Italy, and scheduled for launch in 2027.
It marked a key construction milestone of the keel laying ceremony in July last year.
Amangati means ‘peaceful motion’ in Sanskrit.
Amangati feature 47 luxury suites, each with a private balcony.
The motor yacht will house four international dining concepts, a Jazz Club, a spacious Aman Spa – complete with a Japanese garden – plus a Beach Club with direct access to the water at the stern of the yacht.
It will utilise battery power for a more sustainable way of travel.
Chairman and CEO Vlad Doronin said: “The vessel will embody the very essence of our brand’s DNA, providing exceptional privacy and best in class amenities.”
The yacht will launch in the Mediterranean during the 2027 summer season and will also be available for private charter.
