Aman flagship Phuket resort reopens
Luxury resort group Aman’s first resort has reopened following an extensive renovation.
Phuket resort Amanpuri celebrates 35 years with refreshed facilities, and new guest experiences.
The flagship resort’s standalone Pavilions have all been reconfigured, enhancing their Thai design heritage.
Interior updates include new Makha wood flooring and new bathroom suites.
Balconies have been upgraded while nine Pavilions now have their own swimming pools with ocean views.
The Phuket resort introduces new dining options and has relocated existing venues.
Amanpuri’s signature Japanese restaurant has a new home in an elevated setting above the resort’s iconic sweeping staircase.
In addition, Amanpuri has launched Sushi masterclasses for guests to experience the art of sushi-making.
A new beach restaurant is set to open in December 2023.
Amanpuri’s Holistic Wellness Centre sees the addition of a new Spa House with new wellness and fitness-related experiences.
In November it launches the Ride the Waves programme – a private surfing experience on Bangtao Beach.
There are Cycling Sessions taking guests into the heart of the island to explore picturesque villages and along scenic coastal paths, accompanied by an experienced guide.
