American Airlines flight returned to Manchester after mid-flight emergency

An American Airlines flight was forced to return to Manchester an hour after take-off due to an inflight emergency.
The flight to New York left at 10.23 am on Friday but landed back at Manchester at 11.24.
The airline said flight AA211 suffered a ‘maintenance issue’, according to Mail Online.
One passenger posted a tweet stating they’d been informed there was an engine problem.
