Antigua posts record-breaking tourist arrivals
Despite the ongoing pandemic, Antigua and Barbuda has notched another record-breaking month for tourist arrivals. The twin island nation welcomed more than 18,000 visitors, an all-time best for the month of August.
It follows a record July, when 23,405 tourists came to Antigua and Barbuda, another all-time monthly record. Americans made up 52% of total visitor arrivals last month, followed by the UK with nearly 40%. The UK numbers were helped by the highest ever seat capacity.
