APT adds to Russia and Scandinavia
APT World Discoveries’ 48-page Russia and Scandinavia brochure has been issued this week with a complete program of 14 cruise-tour packages.
APT issued a pre-release flyer early August which featured three key cruise-tours to meet the surging market demand in Australia for river cruising throughout Europe.
APT General Manager Sales and Marketing, Chris Hall said Russia and Scandinavia product provided another dimension to its core Europe river cruising range. APT has conducted luxury river cruising in Russia for seven years.
“It is attracting both new river cruising customers as well as customers who had completed Europe cruises with us and were looking to repeat the experience elsewhere with added land touring,” he said.
The core products are 13-day Moscow-St Petersburg Russian Waterways (from $4,950 per person twin share), 26-day Vienna-St Petersburg Bohemian Rhapsody & Russia (from $12,195) and 20-day Oslo-Copenhagen Scandinavia & Gems of the Baltic (from $9,495).
New to APT World Discoveries are the Eastern European extensions featured in this brochure.
Mr Hall said that among the additional products he expected the following to sell well: 16 Day Helsinki and Russia’s Waterways from $5495 and 24-day Scandinavia and Russia with Viking from $9,895.
The recently refurbished 210-passenger Viking Surkov is the best and most luxurious river ship in Russia, according to Mr Hall, and it will be used in all of the Exclusive Sailings within the brochure.
